is the non navi lcd panel(s) one or two separate pieces?

Oh no it's a full 8''. You should be able to notice this when you first get into the car. My brother has a 2000 LS400 (Platinum Series) w/ Navigation. And when i first got my car and he got in to check it out, that's the first thing he noticed and commented on. That being the size of the Navi Screen!!!!!
