I am trying to pair my new Motorola V710 with the latest software v1.4 with HFL, but when I get the last step of naming my phone the HFL disconnects the link. I tried for about 1hr then finally gave up..

When HFL asks me to name the phone, it always kicks the connection saying the name is too small or asks me to give a alternate name...I tried all kinds of long names eg. "Vino's Mobile Phone".." Vino's Phone" etc..but I always get disconnected at the point...

What am I doing wrong? Anyone..please advice

you are forgetting to push the button before you speak, the one on the steering wheel with the phone icon....

All I can think of

 

i'll admit, i actually did this a couple of times... spoke without pressing the talk button and then got frustrated.
