Angry Motorola V600 Hands Free Link problem

I just bought a new 2004 Acura TL with handsfree link bluetooth technology. I have "paired" my new Motorola V600 phone with the car and can make calls successfully with it. However, when I get an incoming call, it rings in the car's speakers, and then I hit the "talk" button on my steering wheel, but the incoming call goes to the phone, and not the car. To talk to the incoming call I have to talk into the phone, not the built-in bluetooth handsfree system in the car. Acura says that there is a problem with how your phone interacts with their car. Can you look into this please and let me know of any solution? Thanks.
