Once in a while when I voice dial a phone number the HFL begins dialing and then hangs up immediately. Then the MID simply says "in use". I can try redialing several times and it will just repeat the same hang up - "in use" process. If I then dial the number with my phone and say "transfer", the HFL will maintain the call.

1. Has anyone else had this problem with this or any other Moto phone?

2. Does anyone technically minded have a suggestion to resolve this?

My V551 has done something similiar but the "In Use" does not stay lit on the HFL display. I have found that if I dial a number by voice and that number is busy the phone just simply hangs up using the HFL. I rarely ever hear the busy signal tone. I am not sure why this happens with this particular MOTO as my T637 never did this with the HFL. I had to force a hang up if the number was busy on my T637 used with the HFL. Anyway, something you may try as a test to see if the number you are dialing is busy when this disconnect occurs.
