I can dial out using the HFL but when I recieve a call it rings through my cell phone and not the car. No numbers show on the screen nothing happens to notify you of a incoming call. What am i doing wrong.

Some phones have the option to change how the cell phone handles incoming calls. Check your handsfee (or headset) profile settings to see if incoming calls are set to ring on the phone or on the handsfree.

Not all phones are fully compatible with the TL's HFL. Check out this site (http://www.handsfreelink.com) to see if your phone is fully compatible. It looks like the Sprint V3m is compatible with some exceptions (for the '06 TL at least).

Here is another thread on the V3m: Razr V3M Pairing Problem. I'm not sure if it is much help.

I think the RAZR is one of the phone where you need to change a setting on the phone like datmrman said. There should be a setting to hand off call to bluetooth. Check your phone. I know from reading other posts the Sprint RAZR does work

There is a transfer call button on the phone after you answer the call. but if you have to use the phone then transfer whats the point.

I use two different V3M's (Sprint) in the TL, they are compatible (at least in an '07). Neither has your issue.

Did you change some stock settings on the phone? I did not change anything related to how the phone is answered.

Auto Answer (under settings>other) is set to "off".

Answer Option (under settings >other) is set to "open"

My phones ring themselves as does the HFL. I press the button on the steering wheel and answer the call via the HFL. The CID number displays on the MID as well.

I can't remember if there's something in the "phone setup" menu on the HFL, you might check there too.

I just got an '05 TL and I have a Sprint KRZR and have exactly the same problem. Did you ever figure it out, or does anyone know what the deal is?

No still am having the problem. No one will help me, saying its an option in the phone but will not really say what option that is. I have fooled with it a great deal but can not get it to work.
