Mark location not on map

I suspect this is covered in another thread I can't readily find, so if anyone wants to link/refer me there, go for it.

Is there a way to mark "Home" or any other location that's on a street not on the map? And is there a way to mark a waypoint based only on coordinates, as opposed to on a street location?

Case in point: My home is in a new subdivision not yet on the map. When I travel to my home, the nav system marks breadcrumbs when I get into the subdivision.

Thanks!

I believe you can. I'm not in the car to check for you.

The nav can route you to any location that you point to via the joystick. If the address book doesn't have an option to add by position, you can always tell the nav to route you there, then add by previous destination.

When you're at home, tell the nav to "save current location." This will store it in your "previous destinations" list. I don't remember if, when setting "home," it will let you store "current location" as an option.
