I would like to give a special thank you to playa4real for the great write-up with pics.

I just installed the US-ASPEC Ipod integration in my TL (with NAV) and it was simply easy...

I read the DIY link above a couple of times to make sure I understood it and went out after HURRICANE IRENE past - (i had no electricity/internet...i was bored!!) and did the install.

I connected it to the XM sat. ran the wire as shown in the DIY through the passenger side. ran the Ipod Module underneath the passenger seat. and the cables from the module to the ipod is running from underneath the center console.

Only tough part was passing the wire from the trunk to the front of the car...the space is very tight so I used a wire hanger and a helping hand from my bro to get it through...after that I ran the wires beneath the plastic trim along the passenger side of the car...

now I need to go and organize my Ipod with the song titles and names so that I can easily maneuver through the playlists and files....

Anyone wanting to do this shouldn't hesitate...it's very easy.
