Looking for Advice.....

I have an 06 tl with navi, my cd changer is not responding. The radio works fine. I disconnected the battery entered my code and I am still having the same issue. I was thinking I would have to go aftermarket, so I was wondering what direction to go in.

CD not working? Something to consider if you put another HU in there is that the NAVI needs a boards in the stock HU. It is possible to remove the board and replace the HU and still have the navi work. Might be simpler to find a working one at a junkyard. 07+ won't work.

I have the exact same problem. I got mines checked from the dealer, they said I'll need a new Cd player or get it fixed. Would cost about $500 to get it fixed. New one cost $1400.
