I've been having some false alarm problems, and until I figure out the cause, I'd like to just disable the alarm because my neighbors are getting pissed. Is there a way to lock the car without arming the alarm? Someone suggested buckling the driver's seatbelt to fool the car into thinking you're still in there, but it didn't work, the alarm still arms. Right now I have not figured out any way to lock it without setting the alarm, other than by disconnecting the battery.

If you have the valet key that should work an pull the security fuse.

I don't follow, are you saying if I lock it with the valet key the alarm shouldn't arm? It does. Also I can't find any fuse marked security.
