LOC vs Audio Interface integration Methods
I am somewhat stuck between two methods available for adding a aftermarket amp (in addition to the factory one) to my system. The options are as follows:
Option #1: Line Out Converter (ie PAC Trucklock). This device is relatively cheap ($25) and is spliced into the rear speaker wires to create an RCA input/output. Sound quality is said to be affected due to the fact that this device converts a amp'd signal into a RCA acceptable signal.

Option #2: Deck integration interface (ie PAC AOEM-HON20). This device connects to the radio unit in-between the unit and the plug/harness that goes out to the amp (Plug-n-play). Pre-amp'd RCA outputs then are made available for front and rear signals outputs (4ch). I like this method the most because of the true, unconverted signal it produces but of course it requires more work due to the fact that you have to access the rear of the radio deck.

Please tell me what you think.
