loc, aftermarket sub, and amp question? - not hitting properly

I have an Alpine mono amp:
http://www.crutchfield.com/S-Zp8zJ5k...-MRP-M450.html

ebay LOC:
http://cgi.ebay.com/SCOSCHE-LOC80-AD...item20b4d9db59

and a kicker cvr 10":
http://www.amazon.com/Kicker-CompVR-.../dp/B000MRUUQU

alrite so I had this installed in my solara, so I know its potentials. I took everything out and installed it directly into the TL and tapped the LOC into the headunit wire harness.. (exactly like the solara and the few other cars that my budy and I have worked on)

Its set so I can control the bass settings (on speakers and kicker sub) with the stock headunit/naviscreen

and it's hitting, but not NEARLY as hard as it should be and its maxed out on the amp settings and LOC.
[my solara was set at midway on the amp and -4 (range from -5 to +5)]

So my question is, WTH happened? Should I tap the LOC into another place like the stock amp or somethin?

Sorry for making this so long.. i wanted to be thorough. I hope someone can solve this problem because i've taken the entire console out twice already.. so hopefully third time is a charm!

Most people on here tap the LOC from the stock subwoofer wires. they take out the stock sub, which leaves the positive and negative wires exposed.

Also, our trunks design could hamper your results. Some people have built a bandpass box to port into the cabin through the ski pass.

That's pretty much it. You pulled the signal from the wrong place and the TL eats bass. My exact setup in the GN was loud and sounded good. I put the same stuff in the TL and it took a couple years to get it to sound right. The bandpass ported into the interior was a must IMO. Pulling the signal from the stock sub wires will make a huge difference.

What they said. I have a Scosche LOC and tapped the wires right at the stock sub to my 10" box. I removed the passthrough door and it fires through there. It sounds great!
