Linking my Key to car " 2006 TL "

Hello,

I had held down the unlock and lock button at the same time and it erased all my stuff, So I fixed all my radio stations and pre-sets... I then went to set my key link up " Passanger door lock/ Lock door 15MPH, ect... " It said your key must be linked to do so...

HOW DO I LINK MY KEY AGAIN???

Also when you hold down the unlock button, it rolls all the windows down!

HOW DO YOU GET THEM TO ROLL UP??

Thanks alot for any help you might have

Well to link again it says hold down both lock and unlock.

And to roll your windows up you have to buy a module and install it.

Thanks man, Check this out though. This is why I asked, It did not say anything about a module

Here is the part

A number of functions are available via the key fob when outside the car. A single push of the "unlock" button will unlock only the driver's door; a second push unlocks all the doors. After unlocking all doors, holding down the "unlock" button down for more than one second will open the windows and moonroof to ventilate the car's interior.
Still more functions are available with the key in the lock on the driver's door. A single twist unlocks only the driver's door; a second twist unlocks all the doors. If you hold the key in the unlock position for more than one second, the moonroof and all the windows begin to open; return the key to the normal position and the windows stop. Holding the key in the "lock" position will close the moonroof and all windows.
Here is the whole Link from where I got that from

IF you put the key into the lock cylinder on the driver door, then it can roll up and down, but from the remote only down.

So since I pushed the unlock and lock button at the same time, I have to do all this to get it to sync again?

No.. your fob is still in "sync" with your car; just the memory features have been deactivated.

Push lock/unlock on the remote at the same time to reactivate the memory features. Test it by changing the seat position, closing the door, unlocking the car, opening the door - your seat should reposition itself (assuming you have it saved in the first place)

You can buy the roll up module from KP Technologies; fairly easy install from what i've seen - but be aware of he liability you take if some kid decides to put his hand in your window when you're walking away and rolling them up.

Well the key in the door worked fine for me I guess, No need to have it remote, Would be cool though. Im going to try the sync thing right now!

After following the above procedure, and opening the door with the linked fob, selecting Keyless Memory settings brought up "CUSTOMIZING NOT AVAILABLE UNTIL LINKED TO REMOTE." The fob was linked, but I needed to activate the memory settings for that fob:
1. Key off.
2. Push lock on fob. Doors should lock and LED on fob should flash once briefly.
3. Push lock/unlock at the same time to toggle between activated and inactivated:
3a. If LED gives one long flash, Keyless Memory settings are activated for the fob.
3b. If LED on fob gives two short flashes, memory features are inactivated for the fob.
