i have a 05 tl dgp

i want the type-s lighting kit (tail lights, side markers, headlights)

i can find the tail lights and side markers, but does anyone know where i can get the clear casing at? i really don't like the yellow corners on it

please let me know ;]

 

i dont think the type S headlights will bolt on to the 05 TL from what I hear the headlights were bolted differently to the car in 06 and on ... so I think thee will be more modification then just removing your headlights and putting the type S ones on

 

we have vendors for this stuff. Can't remember his name but if you look in the sponsored section he specializes in this stuff. give him a call, it's like 120 bucks to get them and you send him your old ones, i'll probably be gettin around to this mod once i do my TB spacer, pulley and magnaflow mod

 

the Type S headlights WILL BOLT up to any 3rd gen TL '04-'08... however... the diference is in the Ballast mounting...

'04-'05 TL Ballasts are BIGGER than the '06-'08 Ballasts...

So in order to use Type S headlights in an '04-'05 vehicle you'll need '06-'08 Smaller Ballasts... because the mounting locations on the '06-'08 headlights are different...
