LED T3 Neo Wedges all around TL 3G

Hello everyone , I am new to the Acura community . Recently I bought a 2006 Acura TL base, and man when I turn on the head lights most of the lights were not working around the Navigation , steering wheel, the shifter, heat seats and all the memory seats are out . But I changed all the t3 bulbs to a mix blue , ice blue , white and violet blue for now. Later on I will changed the soldered bulbs to blue leds then when I have the money , buy all blue t3 led blue to change the whole car a blue theme as the gauges.

Here re are the looks so far...

Looks good, I just added a few. I'm worried all will be too bright at night and interfere. I'll play with dimmer and consider doing all of them. Doing the steering wheel looks fun. I'm gonna have to have some help with that part.

I considered doing this when I was installing my double din but was afraid they'd all be too bright. Do you find this to be the case? What's the dimmer set at?

All the T3 LEDs I've ever tried have been ridiculously bright.

if too bright is a problem, I would put a piece of magic tape over the LED itself or thin coat of white out will do the trick.

I've done that. There's an SMD LED behind each of my A/C up/down buttons with a piece of vinyl tape filtering down the brightness.

I've also wired up my own LEDs in T3 bases for the moonroof console. I'm much happier with those, because I can control the output directly with a resistor. But they're more work.

Can you guys post a link to tape you suggest? I noticed that aftermarket bulbs didn't feel very snug in the socket. My mechanic said he didn't trust the fit much. Guess we'll see what happens.

I'll try some white out and look for tape.

Good tip. I may try out LED + tape in the cluster buttons and see how I like it. Those are easy to change.
