I did my LED swap-looks better then stock

Its not that easy to do this i took me a weak to do it but hard work payes of so thats what came out ..

I use 3mm and 5mm leds 470mh resistors .. So it made my leds 12v .. And i used some white leds for my climate control and cd player ..

how did you wire them? are all of them wired individually in parallel with a resistor? utilizing a series connection can be cleaner and use less resistors

And probably wont work. Each LED takes a good amount of current in series this load adds up. One resistor isn't advisable.

Wiring in parallel with a resistor for each LED is the acceptable way of doing this.

Note: You can do it, but proper design and calculation should be done first.

Let me fix what i wrote.

Series (Yes) - Same current passed as if all were one LED
Parallel (No) - If any LED requires different voltage, only the lowest value LED will light up. If you do it this way then a resistor for each LED will be needed.

Not tryna be mean but I really don't like the Blueish LEDs in the Base TLs Gauges and other places... Maybe cause im used to the Type S LEDs inside they look better to me and make more sense in the Interior design

I like it in the base, it's calming and the base is blue to begin with. If I had a Type-S I'd put red in.

to those confused, he said that the color is a personal preference just like how the other poster liked the red TL-S LED's vs the base.

It looks good! Do you have an issue with some of the buttons being brighter than others? Where did you get the LED's from?

I'm partial to the blue hue on the base TLs, however, the red LED color is growing on me

That's why I installed 16 color leds into my instrument cluster on my other car (NOT Acura). Controlled by IR remote.

Pacura, you did a nice job.

I have merged your two threads together. No need for two of the same thing.

I am more interested in the radio display. Were you playing a tape cassette, as it says "tape play". I always thought it was wierd to have a tape player in my car, as I have never used it.
