LED front and rear turn signal video

I purchased switch back bulbs for the front and red LED for the rear. I also have the license plate LED assembly installed. I installed the 2nd license plate LED after the video. These bulbs are super bright. Check the YouTube link to watch the video.

You'll have to keep us updated about the reliability of those LED. I dont trust a lot of them because many dont last long. Those are bright and good luck with them!

actually, this is why I use these board like bulbs. Never had issues with these. I normally lease cars so they have lasted 3 years with no issues.

Is it possible to retain the normal blinker speed? I'd like to put the LEDs in, but I don't like the fast blink.

yes. You will have to install resistors to retain normal blinking speed

Sweet, thanks all. I searched around trying to find a video to install the bulbs. Are they plug and play (aside from the resistor)?

did you add resistors? I'm just wondering if the TL requires resistors to prevent hyper flash.

It will hyperflash if you don't do anything. Either resistors or modify the relay.

I modified my relay couple years ago and had no issues.

Yes there is:
https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-a...-relay-984430/

But that thing costs $60. For that money you can get bunch of resistors, halfway decent soldering iron, and you will have leftover money for some beer. Oh and you get to keep the iron.
