this morning i wasnt able to lock my doors with the keyless remote (original). I have an 04 TL. I was able to unlock them though using the remote.
Could this be a battery issue? (which im going to try and change tonight)

if not, i spoke with someone at the dealer and he said it might need to be re-programmed.

I also found this thread, but does this only apply to new keyless remotes only?

ok, so to add to this, when i got to my car yesterday, it didnt work, but when i got home it worked and has worked ever since.
could this mean the battery is weak?

 

It could mean the battery or some small intermittent communication problem. I'd keep an eye on it.
