Keyless Receiver issues
So i posted this in the problems and fixes but no one had an answer to the electrical tests.
here is the input test.
so with my basic electrical knowledge, cavity 1/blk is ground.
so with a multimeter, i'm suppose to test the volage between the ground and the other pins?
the battery voltage is 12v DC correct?
pins 1 to 3 should be 12v
pins 1 to 5 should be 12v
pin 2 should be plugged into N No 1 (45P) at the relay box disconnected.
pin 2 to ground and should be no continuity
what does continuity mean?

Continuity means the circuit is complete when power is applied.
Def:
Continuity refers to being part of a complete or connected whole. In electrical applications, when an electrical circuit is capable of conducting current, it demonstrates electrical continuity. It is also said to be “closed,” because the circuit is complete. In the case of a light switch, for example, the circuit is closed and capable of conducting electricity when the switch is flipped to "on." The user can break the electrical continuity by flipping the switch to "off," opening the circuit and rendering it incapable of conducting electricity.
