I am to recieve some key fobs for my 04' 6MT TL because the used dealer I bought it from didnt have them. How do I go about linking the Fob to the car? I thought it is a process of hitting buttons & turning the car on and off. Anyone know where to find this info?? ( Yes I did a seach first.)

 

Turn the key on (position II) for 2 sec, then push the key fob (lock or unlock button, either one will work) for 2 sec, then turn the key off (position I) for 2 sec.

repeat this process about 4 times, and on the fourth time, you should hear the doors lock or unlock. Press the button on the key fob one more time to ensure that it worked, and you're done.

 

Sweet! Will that store my memory settings also??

Do I have to do both fobs at the same time or can they be done consecutively? (sp?)
