Unhappy Key Fob Mystery

I am driver 1 and my wife is driver 2. Yesterday when she started the car with her key, the sound system didn't work. At a convenient point, she stopped the car and restarted it with my key. Sound system worked just fine. I know driver memory and sound system settings are linked to the key fob. She used her key a few days ago and everything was fine. Anybody seen this before? Any suggestions on how I might remedy this? Thanks in advance. Martin, 06TL with 08 Nav package and rear view camera

I think it's a coincidence moreso than causation. Your amp may be on its way out. Have you retested this theory
