Just ordered my USA Spec but......

.....I am not sure if I have to order a seperate docking kit? It doesn't look like it has one, or anything that directly interacts with the ipod. Please let me know if any of you guys have a set up for the docking kit, and which looks best in the tl. I ordered the kit for $109, originally priced at $169.

I am going to get it installed at a local shop for $125. Is this considered a good price?

thanks,

not sure about price, i plan on doing mine myself. but i am pretty sure it should come with everything you need, mine did. i think they sell longer cords if the stock one isnt long enough, but there should be a cord that attaches to the base of the ipod.

hey blk, im not savy enough to do it myself, or would even go as being to lazy to do myself. For some reason I don't think it has a docking station, as it has a video showing all the contents, and the only thing that would resemble anything is the box thingy itself, and that looks like it goes under the seat or something. I guess ill know when I receive it. Nice aspec by the way. My car is very similiar to yours, as i have the ebony aspecs on the NBP, but Im going with Tein coilovers. I like how you blackened everything, looks mad stealth.

thats odd, but this is what you should be receiving:

and thanks for the compliments, i really like how she looks pretty much stock, but just a little better... i love when i catch someone staring at it, it makes me feel good. and i love the tint. its enough, but not too much. i just wished the rims were a bit darker. oh, and i just have to share. my ATLP j-pipe is almost to my house, i cant wait to get that and the race pipe installed. again, it will be almost stock, just a little better.

let us know how the install goes. hopefully it comes with everything you need.

jingy08 - I'm assuming you purchased the USA Spec HON2y; if so then it will come with everything you need and you shouldn't need to purchase any additional connectors, etc.

Regarding installation, I didn't think I was savvy enough either, but I managed. See this link: https://acurazine.com/forums/car-parts-sale-361/dreamcast-w-controllers-vmu-games-173870/

Best of luck and enjoy.

thanks guys. Hey blk, what is the ATLP j-pipe? Is that an exhaust? I absolutely love the tl-s quad tail pipe setup. Wish I had that on my car.

The ATLP J pipe is a pipe that connects the front 3 cylinder's exhaust with the rear three, and combines them into one pipe that runs the length of the car. Basically a reverse Y pipe, if you go to the ATLP J-pipe thread, you will see what it is. The ATLP exhaust is a quad tip exhaust, go to that thread to in performance parts and modifications.
