Ok so i just had this installed in my car:

I know its not as good as dice and peripheral units but it was a gift so anyway. I had this in my TSX a few months back. That car was totalled. I removed this and recently had it installed in my current car (TL)

While it was in the TSX i was able to use my steering wheel controls to change songs (as advertised.) This does not work in the TL for some reason. I have to control the music directly from the ipod itself

Anyone have any speculation as to why this would be? Thanks for any help,

btw It is an 05 with navi and XM still activated.

 

Obvious question but I spose I should ask first...have you checked to see if GROM has put out an updated firmware?

 

Thats interesting. It looks like an exact replica of pac audio's upac hon1, which is who probably manufactureres that product for gromaudio. I would call their customer service and see if they can help you update the firmware or give you general cs. I love my upac hon1. It works flawlessly and has the steering wheel controls you spoke of.
