You folks may already know this, but I accidentally stumbled on it: While listening to the CD changer, just press the Disc # that you are listening to and it alternates between 'play' and 'pause'.

 

yeah.. known. but there might be some that dont.

 

The best way is to push the phone button and all audio pauses. (Just ignore the voice command). Hangup button will resume the play.

 

Just figured this out today. *bump in case others didn't know about it*. I was on my way to the commuter lot today and I hit the CD# I wanted (which actually was currently playing) and it said Pause. I was like woh, previously I have been hitting the HFL button. Nice feature

 

I tried this yesterday and it worked fine. I tried it again today and it doesn't - the disk just keeps playing. Could I have done something to disable it on this infinitely-configurable car?

Good to know. I've been hitting the power button which serves the same function. When you turn system back on, CD resumes.

 

A lot of people were using the HFL button on the steering wheel to "pause" the cd also.. but then you have to listen to "pardon" or any other commands you accidently say / do while in phone mode.
