I have a 2006 TL with factory installed acura musiclink ipod connector. i have a 5th gen video ipod that works fine in the car and I am looking to get 2nd gen Itouch, but havent heard if it is compatible to musiclink (plays in car and charges itouch). If anyone has used the itouch with the musiclink please let me know how it works.

The 2G Ipod touch will work with musiclink with the following caveats:

1. It will not be charged by musiclink
2. you need to start playlist or album playing prior to connecting to musiclink
