Issue with Dom's tvand nav2 go unit...check it out

Ok i have re-installed my Doms nav to go unit and have noticed that with the unit installed even when the unit is not in play(reverse camera or input 1) i get lines in the background of my factory nav screen and audio screen that move up down, is this common? Should i ask for a new unit it only about 1 month old? Anyone experience the wavy lines in the background of the display screen no matter the input being displayed on the nav screen?

When you drive and hit the gas, the lines change in speed going up or down as you speed up? It is a gound issue for sure. It is like when you have a bad ground on an amp and get that alternator noise as you rev the engine.
