I have a 2004TL w/Navi. I've been using a Ipod mini and I'm able to control it through the IPOD function with full steering wheel functions most times. Lately it doesn't sinc with th IPOD radio option (says no ipod connection) yet the ipod still charges and plays (just doesn't play through the radio. I bought a used second gen. Ipod touch and 90% of the time it doesn't sink with the car. When it does it's through the xm1 or aux 1 function. The IPOD charges and plays, just not through the speakers. When I try to sync it through any of the car functions it say "this accessory is not supported by ipod touch" Any thoughts?

Sounds like it's the cable, those things are pretty flimsy.
