iSimple SQ and Capabilities
I'll make this quick. Has anyone compared the SQ of the Isimple vs that of quality recordings put on a DVD-A (flac, wav, etc)?? I'm thinking my player might be on it's way out as it has some trouble recognizing DVD's or CD's at times and I can hear the player spinning/working while changing songs. I figure if I can get the same SQ or close to that of what I have now, then I'd love to have it. I like how simple it is to just put songs on an ipod and plug it in to the Isimple and go. Also like how it shows you the Artist and Song Title too
Can you use Pandora on the Isimple? I've got a bunch of stations on Pandora that are good since I've liked and disliked songs for awhile on them. If you can use Pandora, hows the SQ of it (I know you can only use 192 bitrate highest)

Which unit would I need for my '04 w/ nav to control from steering wheel, etc. Just don't know much about them and I honestly don't feel like reading and searching lol
I can't help you with the isimple because I've never used one but you can get a new in box stock CD player for $300 or less shipped to your door. Just thought I would throw that out there.
I know people say you can't tell a "good" mp3 apart from anything else but I can do it ten out of ten times on my system. I've listened to enough back to back CDs and some off of the iPod and my Droid and there is a difference.

The isimple and usa spec just go in through where factory XM would go, so it is a direct connection. The SQ will be limited to how you have the music encoded on your device. There may be a slight volume variation, but it should sound fine.
My iSimple has a noise floor that you can hear in either of my cars. They sound pretty good though, otherwise...not competition quality, but good. You can tell a difference in the loss-less vs. low quality mp3s over the iSimple.
Because of the noise floor, it does not sound as good as a CD or DVD-A burned from loss-less, but it is pretty good.
I use my with iPhone 4 running OS5.x with at least 320 mp3 or loss-less music.

Hm. I'd like to keep using my DVD-A's while I can but I can't seem to figure out how the hell to do it. My HD-Audio Solo timed out but I still have IMGBurn...anyone know how to use that??
I know you're supposed to burn an ISOimage and then burn that onto the DVD-A but I can never seem to get it

Have you guys noticed that with new iOS5 update now Pandora displays song and artist names on Car's display, also let's you skip song from steering wheel controller. And one more thing, when you play video from Youtube it displays that title too.
