Question iSimple/PXAMG help!

I bought the car used (06 with navi) and it has the iSimple or PXAMG iPod attachment. Being that it's 6 years old the piece that plugs into the iPod is worn out. If I go over bumps the right side speakers fade in and out and it plays really low and maintains normal volume on my driver side.

Is there a way I could just buy the cable that hooks into the iPod and radio instead of buying the whole iSimple kit? It's like almost $200

That does not happen when listening to non-iPod music??

I have had loose connections to an I device and that did not happen, sounds more like a cable loose behind the stereo for the Isimple. If it uses RCA connections - one is semi loose

You can buy a new cord for your iSimple. I have replaced one already.

...something like this, but make sure you get the right one for your unit.

Yes, it's just with the iPod. CD's, tape and radio work fine. Hmm, I guess I'll have to pull the center console and check. Only thing is...I have no clue how to do that...anyone have pics/instructions?

It plugs in down by the gas pedal right?

Nevermind, found a video on youtube on the whole install. Just gonna pull up the center console and check cables and such. I'll report back in case anyone else has this problem.

Do I need to disable the battery before I tear the dash apart? The radio has that Anti-Theft thing.

when working with sensitive electronics it's always best to disconnect the battery.

Your anti theft code is either in your user manual/folder or your dealer has them.
