Arrow iSimple ISHD571 Gateway iPod/iPhone & Aux Audio Input Interface

I`m thinking about ordering this unit for my iPhone 4.

Does anyone have this particular model installed in their TL/Navi?

If so, does it work well?

I own one but on my non-navi TL. I usually use the AUX 1 setting rather than the iPod setting since it is quicker for me to navigate using the iPod than the radio controls to browse through songs.

Just make sure before you install it that the gateway is updated to the latest firmware. I use an iTouch with mine and just put iOS 6 on it and it works great and the steering wheel controls work well also.

i have one in my 06 navi. works very well. I keep a itouch in the center armrest all the time. steering wheel controls work as does the information display. I sometimes plug my iphone into the aux for Pandora and that works well to. overall I think its a great product.

I have XM on a non navi '05 and am considering buying this device. It appears that earlier models had a "bleeding" issue. Is that still a problem?

I think that issue was more with the USA Spec older models. I don't use XM but I do have an XM Button and everything I've read says that XM is still available. When I hit the button I still get XM's preview channel.

I have one on my 04 Navi....I plug my iPhone 4 into it all the time Shows the Artist Name & Song, good sound, can use the instrument controls on the steering wheel to change the song and volume...Its a good buy.... If you get the iPhone 5, you will have to buy the adapter from Apple though

Based on the two products, which are better? USA spec, or the iSimple?
