iSimple installed... steering wheel controls... not?

Well I exaggerated. My steering wheel controls aren't working for my iSimple, but they do for everything else.

Has to be a simple fix..... what am I doing wrong? What needs to be changed?

I did search - but there's so much iSimple stuff out there....

THANKS!

To be more specfic, when I hit channel up - it goes through the "browse" function, the down button doesn't do anything.

To advance tracks only the right "tune" knob works.

Help me get my steering wheel controls back!!! Thanks

Bizarre. Sounds like the harness is wired wrong.

Well I have an email out to Uncald and the Peripheral guy. Buttoned everything up and here's the issue (also updated firmware to latest version)

1. Steering wheel song up cycles through "RPT song, RPT album, etc."
2. Steering wheel song down gets me the "browse" function
3. With my iPod nano the info on the screen won't change from the first song that starts playing.

HELP!!!

your better bet would be just to call them directly on monday they will walk you through all problems over the phone to make sure everything is installed properly.

Who should I call? Also - do you know how to change your steering wheel controls to "seek" instead of flip through the presets? I have an 08 TL-S

Because your car is a 2008, you have to Hit and HOLD the buttons on the steering wheel to make it change tracks. Usually under 2 seconds.

Try it, it will beep, and your track will change.
I wish it was the other way around too, but at least it somewhat works.
