i go the isimple from cc and did the same install that eveyone did... i keep getting the preview channels for my XM and the cable is getting really really hot hooked up to my iphone... does anyone have any clue on what i may have done wrong...
please respond asap...

 

try removing all harnesses... inspect the pins, then re-seat everything and make sure the plugs are seated appropriately. did you disconnect your battery before the install?

If so, then you have to call XM to re-establish your service with your radio ID... you'll have to have the car outside in order for this to work. Dont' know exactly when the cable is getting hot .. is the PXAMG module getting hot too?

Does your ipod work? You didn't mention anything about that... is everything else fully functional (ipod controls via the acura radio controls .. steering wheel)??

 

i unpluged everything and hooked it back up and everything was fine...

Sorry to thread jack, but can someone tell me if the iSimple unit allows for additional inputs (RCA)?

 

it does...as well as 3.5mm for other mp3 players.
