So I just picked up the TL yesterday after getting the iSimple installed. It works great so far. I havent figured out how to change the sorting though. Right now it is sorting the songs by song title. I'd rather sort by artist or genre. Is this possible?

 

When turning your car on, you press the XM button, use the right control knob to select I-pod. After that press the preset #6 on your radio & it should list: artist-playlist-genre & what not. To select either one press the preset #6 on your radio.

Wish you were local, I did the install myself. It was easy & IMO fun lol.

 

I would have tried the install myself but I'm not comfortable running the wire up from the trunk to the armrest. Thanks for the info, I'll try it out.

 

I forgot to add: If you have navigation, I'm not sure how different the set-up would be. But these steps are from a Non-navigation. Let me know if it works, I'll try my best to help you out .

 

So I tried pressing #6 and it worked. It showed all the sorting options along with what seemed to be playlists. Thanks.

 

there should be a quick reference card that came with the isimple. Keep that in your glovebox.
