iSimple bluetooth sound quality?

Im looking at buying an isimple to stream music via my android. During my research i am finding conflicting info on the sound quality via bluetooth. Can anyone chime in? I'm looking to use it mainly to stream spotify and slacker.

I've been looking into this as well. I am new to this forum as well as the Acura family so any help on this topic would be appreciated.

ChuckP- Have you looked at GROM? They have units that use USB to play through the stereo, which would have better sound quality. I think this would be better since it's hardwired into the stereo and it can charge your phone. Maybe something to look into?

Yeah the problem is as the poster above stated, I believe you can only use their media app via the usb. I stream music from spotify and slacker 90% of the time. I still can't get concrete info on this. i even emailed them and they said they weren't sure if those apps would work via USB. So I refuse to buy it just to take a chance.

I have the isimple connect, and the sound quality is very similar to the Ford Sync in my Focus. I do have an issue with a very slight pop sound when I press a button or adjust the volume, but that is the case while its hooked in via USB as well. No apps to download, and in Bluetooth mode the 4 preset on the Acura radio initiates Siri. Pretty slick. Its an 06 non-navi BTW.

its never going to be great, its bluetooth streaming. Its a convenience, not intended to be a high quality source even with lossless files

Is using the #4 preset the only way to access Siri? Is there any other adapter solution that lets you initiate Siri from the steering wheel controls?

I use some multimedia remote with mine...satechi is the brand I think...you can access siri, play music, etc...messes with the bluetooth though..only works wired. Isimple bluetooth messes with HFL and the mic sucks anyways so I use the USB.
