Which iSimple?

I have looked everywhere on this forum and if I'm missing it, I'm sorry. Which isimple do I need? I have a 2005 TL with Navi and a six speed. Do I need the 71 or 73? With the one I need, does that mean it works with my steering wheel controls and the Navi screen? TIA! jb

I purchased
this this
iSimple kit and installed myself a few days ago using a guide in the 3G Garage.

Works and sounds perfectly and retains XM.

pac audio shows ISHD571 as working for your need...

I have an 04 Base TL with Nav, I was going to buy this one...

I also want to be sure... ISHD571 is the exact same as ISIM73?

What is the PGHHD2 Harness? I see that AVongsana is selling the ISIM73 and PGHHD2 Harness so they must be two separate things...

I'm trying to fine out what I need for my '04 non-navi (also want to be able to use my steering wheel controls).

ISIM73 is supposed to just be a rebranded version of the ISHD571.

The PGHHD2C Harness is for vehicles with Nav-Traffic only. You don't need it.

As long as you have the XM Button on your radio, you're golden for either kit.

See the link from 09tbss_rjw or myself above.

Good luck

Disappointed!

Anyhoo, I purchased an isim73 from an Amazon dealer. Listed as new, but obviously not; the aux cable was literally ripped apart with no white connector. Serial number was scratched off, etc. Anyway, I digress... Long story short, I installed it anyway because I don't need the aux cables. I removed the center console trim and under the steering wheel. It was very simple, but once installed it didn't work. The ipod stated this device would not charge it; XM worked as regular, almost like the gateway was not attached and that was that. I tried both ports and it didn't do anything. I have a gen 3 ipod touch, and that doesn't show support on the side of the box. Could that be it? Regardless, I am sending it back, assuming the company that sold it honors the return and acknowledges their false advertisement. Good times! So at this point, I've not decided what I will do next, but I wanted to thank everyone for their input so far! Thanks, jb
