Ipod/AUX in for 2006 TL
Hi, i know this has been asked many times, and i have searched and read all the threads but they are all a year or more old. What is the best solution right now for ipod/ aux support. For every one i have seen, usa, pac, dice there is a corresponding thread about troubles with the units.
Do any of the companies make a completely trouble free unit? I don't have XM so i don't need support for that, I just want ipod control and text. As well as an additional aux input. Any suggestions are appreciated, Thanks.

Does anyone know if the issues with the hon3 in this thread, https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...ight=PA15+HON3
have been rectified?
It looks like it may have been an adaptor issue but how do you know if the reseller has the updated one.

USA Spec - with new Iphone4 works great through XM #1. I always set it to direct mode #5.
Bought from Crutchfield, followed PDF instructions found on this website, and installed in about 1.5 hours (novice car repair guy here).
Trickiest thing was figuring out the commands once installed.

Just my experiences.
I'm old school- I use a Blitzsafe adapter so I have no text on my Nav. I use a Scosche RF iPod controller that's mounted on the steering wheel, and love the setup. My iPod sits in the top center compartment. The Blitzsafe has been completely reliable.

Please note this will not work on any adapter where control of the iPod is via the radio controls/ steering wheel controls.

Jumping on the bandwagon.. i have an iPhone 4 and I want the text to be displayed on the HUD or screen.. does the USA Spec provide that? Will it also provide charging capabilities?
