Everything went fine in the installation and text displays but sound isn't right. It doesn't have any bass and the sound comes lower than it has to be. The thing is that when you change the PRESET or hit any button it starts sounding good but after 1sec it goes back to how it was sounding. I disconnected the dice cable and went to use the 1/8 on the jack of the car and it works very good, with the sound rich and everything. I sent the Dice module for exchange to the seller and I got it back but I installed it and it's the same thing.

I don't know if it has to do with the iPod firmware or anything else, but please at least say something.

I think it has nothing to do with the sound settings since when you are in FM1, FM2, AM CD, AUX... the sound is great.

did you replace just the unit, or all wires? I use the USA-SPEC HON2Y, and find that it has better quality and clarity when using the port at the bottom of the ipod than using the stero jack. When I use the stero jack, I don't get any highs or lows, but with the port get it all, plus volume control.

 

Don't have my ipod in front of me...but did you change any of the EQ or volume related settings on the ipod? I had a problem like this and then after setting all the ipod settings to the defaults everything is better.

 

My bad my buddy didn't disconnect the XM. That was all.
