Hello there!
When i bought my '04 TL two months ago I had about 40% of buttons don't have lighting. So I got one bulb from VSA button. Noticed that it has a blue cover. So my question is: can I buy somewhere these bulbs or it's only came from factory ?

 

Or what kind of bulbs I can replace ? Do all T3 bulbs fit ?

 

Would also like to know this. I need to replace more than half my interior bulbs and it would be far cheaper to find a good set of drop in led bulbs than it is to order a set from OEM parts suppliers. From the ones I've removed they all seem to have the same base shape, but I noticed many of the OEM bulbs have different amps and voltages listed. Wasn't sure how picky these cars were to aftermarket bulbs. Looking through the garage section only has a DIY for re-basing with LEDs instead of using drop in bulbs. Was thinking of picking up a set of these.

Also, would the dimming function still work with led bulbs?

 

I have LED lighting of 4 buttons near dashboard left by previous owner and dimmer works on them. I tried to replace one of them to other place, for example, VSA button and it didn't fit. I mean it does fit, but don't fixate. So I'm a bit confused
