Instructions for removing rear Speakers and sub...

Does anyone have any pics or helm scans of removing the rear deck speakers and subwoofer?

Do I go in from the trunk or from the passenger cabin?

Also I am assuming the pics or scans will show how to insert NEW speakers and sub.

Thanks Again for all the help!

Ron, thanks again for the help....but from what I see, those are instructions for removing the back seat, and rear shelf.

There is no mention of speakers or sub...

Oh I see how it works....the speakers have to be removed UP into the cabin, NOT the trunk...therefore I have to remove all that first.

Got it....Thanks

Sorry about that. I completely forgot to put in the note that once this is done, just remove the screws and pull the speakers and sub up. I intended to put in the note, but...

Not a problem...I had to think for a second..something I am not use to doing!

Do you have any diagrams of the wiring for the tweeters to the stock amp? I am wondering how the wires runs and what colors are what off the amp.

That way I know what wires to splice to each speaker.

I cannot find anything on the site.

I have not found anything that describes the way the wires run from the amp to the tweeter to the mid in the door. I want to see if I can use the stock wiring as much as possible to avoid running double wires.

Nobody has mentioned where the crossovers are, if there are any, in the car.

Any help would be great..sure I can wait.... I don't think helm can get me manual by 5pm EST anyway

I do appreciate it.

Do you happen to know if the crossover is built into the amp?

So is the mid and the tweeter running to the amp separately or is there a crossover somewhere else for the separation?

Thanks for those...I can read the bottom one fine...the top one I cannot. I looked some more and found this thread:

https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...7&page=2&pp=25

Starting at post #25 it seems to have the exact information.
Also mentions the tweeters.

Thanks for the scans. Are they form the helm manual?
