installing sub yourself

installing sub yourself

I know I've read and seen many threads before.. I'm not asking how to do this. I want to ask people who has done this yourself. I know I need to buy power cable and Hi-lo converter with my existing amp/box/sub.

Did you guys find it not too difficult to wire up everything yourself?

It depends upon your skill level. If you have installed Head Units, Speakers and Amps in your previous cars, then you should be OK. If you don't have any experience running cables thru your firewall, splicing into factory harnesses etc., then you may want to have somebody else do it. This is a pretty expensive car to cut your installation teeth on.
