Just bought a 2006 TL with Nav, and so far I like it. I do have a few questions that I'm hoping someone here can answer:

1. Is there anyway to initiate a call from my cell phone? I have over 200 numbers in my cell phone, it would be nice to dial from the cell phone directory and have the call be on the car bluetooth.

2. When returning to my car, my phone does not always sync up. I find that I need to turn off my phone and turn it back on. I have tried the function on the phone that searches for devices, but no luck. I'd love to find an easy way to re-sync the phone & TL without having to power off my phone.

3. IPOD connection....I know there are tons of threads....I've looked through several so far, but can someone tell me or point me to a thread that discussed IPOD video. Would love to have the ability to not only play music, but show pics & video from an IPOD touch. Is this possible?

4. What is the latest update to the NAV disc and what upgrades or differnces that I would see by going to the latest version from the 2006 original?

Yes, just dial the number on the phone, press the handsfree button and say "transfer"

Do you have a tested certified phone thats compatible? Check here (not firefox compatible http://www.acura.com/handsfreelink/) If so, maybe your firmwares out of date on your phone. If firmwares good, then maybe handsfreelink is acting up, I would have the dealer look at it. With your bluetooth on, your phone should automatically link up

I had the 2006 TL and now Have a 08 TL. there is no changes I can see as far as maps and POI as I can see. The 08 even has the same screwed up POI's (wrong position or didnt exist for over a decade) that I saw in the 06. My opinion, the price for the updated disc is not worth it.

When I try to do this with my 05, it comes back and tells me the device is in use.
