Imported phonebook - can't use to call?

Imported phonebook - can't use to call?
I was adding contacts over BT one by one until I saw I could import my phonebook from my phone. The imort worked flawlessly, but when I go to my phonebook list and select a number it only has an option to "add to HFL". If I tap that nothing happens, but the button changes to "call using HFL" or something similar, but again it does nothing and changes back to "add to HFL".
Thoughts?
