ordered my speakers today alot of good reviews on them .....will a alpine 300 watt power these enough the guy at the store says they will be gettin about 100 watt each and he'll charge me 250 with install....im just worried 100 wat wont be enough to power them

I'm far from an expert on this so take it with a grain of salt.
I have a JL audio 6 channel amp rated at 75X6 channels and I definately need more. Thinking about bridging it. My recommendation is to get an amp with at least 150 watts rms and then back the gains down if it's too loud. These things take the full 75 watts crossed over at 65hz like nothing.
100 watts is still very loud, you just won't be pushing the speakers to their full potential and I like to have a lot of headroom to avoid distortion.

i have a kicker sx 600.2 two channel that does 140 watts rms per channel. great amp. im parting out my install so let me know if you are intrested.
