IDQ15 vs 2-12W6 Should I switch?

I've been on all the professional forums and am still undecided. The goal is to free up some trunk space that my 2 W6s take up- 3 cubic feet.

One 15" IDQ only needs 1 cu ft. I will give up some loudness but don't want to give up any SQ. Has anyone listened to both?

I'm not looking at the IDMax because it's very similar to the W6/7 in the space department.

IDQ for sure. It will play deeper and will sound cleaner if tuned properly. The idq (even in 15" form) will have a quicker output than the jl's. That means that the cone will have faster attack and decay which results in less of the "boom" that jl speakers tend to have.

ever thought about a Boston SPG 555 or an G5 12" with a passive radiator. great output but amazing sound quality. i would go with boston or Image dynamics over JL audio any day.
