Identifying Bluetooth wire

I just installed a Pioneer AVIC 7000NEX with an AXXESS ASWC-1 adapter for the steering wheel controls. It takes over the volume button perfectly without extra work but won't do the same automatically for the Bluetooth phone button. Can anyone tell me what color the wire is coming from the stock head unit that controls the Bluetooth steering wheel button. I was told by AXXESS that I can simply connect one of the leads to that wire and be able to use the steering wheel buttons to answer calls and hang up.

Thanks for any help.

Here's what they have in the 2004 service manual, if that's any help.

Edit: Because it's hard to read, C12 and C13 are *2 in page 22-393, C6 C7 C16 C19 are *1. C16 and C19 are likely the one you're interested in.

Great post Polo, that's going to help greatly when I go to do the center stack to rule all center stacks in the coming weeks.

I think OP needs to tap into the button wires that run from the steering wheel to the HFL in the roof though.

They're in the following thread.

You're looking for Orange (+) and Brown (-) I believe.

Good luck and be sure and tell us if it works.

I have no HFL in my car, so I'm going blind here.

Also center stack to rule all center stacks? Can't wait to see that. This summer I should be putting a Nexus 7 2013 in there, using a joycon to get controls to work and eventually reverse cam if money permits. Still not entirely set on how I'll do things, I like the bottom cubicles and don't really want to lose them.

I got a deal on a Pioneer X4700BS I couldn't pass up and have had a 2012 Nexus 7 laying around for a while. I don't want to lose the cubicles either and think I have a plan for keeping them.

Got an axxess Aswc-1 to keep all my steering wheel controls.

This reverse combo seems to good to be true at $40, we'll see

The camera will tie into the HU so I won't need a converter and the tablet is going to serve a totally different purpose.

Camera in the HU? You got Nav? Because I don't. Different paths there I imagine. :P Also the stock radio is "good enough" for me, I just want to add modern connectivity.

Mines non-nav, but the new HU I'm putting in will have a camera input.
