I just want to give you my opinion:
I just checked Amazon.com, and the iDeck is $39.99 (which should be suitable for the 04 TL). For a little more ($69.99), you can get a Blitzsafe (which I have) which is much better integrated into the car and the ipod sound is fantastic. You can also go the iSimple route or one of the other adapters. You might want to consider a better adapter, and pay just a little more for a better product.

I have the iSimple. I love it. I am able to control everthing through my steering wheel or radio dials. The sound is great. It was $150 plus another $50 for installation. It was the best $200 investment in my car.
