Hey guys. its been like 4 months now that i have my TL. I have decided that i want to install a crazy system in my car. I need to know from your experiences what problems you may or may not have when installing ur new system. My car is a 05 TL with the navi. I dont want to lose out on any of the functions for example; steering controls, voice command and the center channel. I plan on goin to get this done by professionals however i need your suggestions/inputs/thoughts with this.
Theoretically i will:
1) i will use my exisiting stock amp to power ONLY the center channel.
2) i will buy a 4 channel amp to power the rest of the speakers.
3) i will buy the JL audio cleansweep (to enhance my stock head unit)
4) then obviously buy the subwoofers and amps wireing kits etc for bass.

Are there anyone out there who has JL Audio Cleansweep in their car? is it true once its installed that the stock Head Unit's volume knob is not used anymore instead we have to use the JL Cleansweap's master volume.

I've been searching on this site for help and threads......and i appreciate all you fellas done, now can u just get me over the top.

nice install on a 04w/nav.

u will loose steering controls if u change out ur headunit, i reccoment not as its an ugly dash to put something in, stock it looks great. and the headunit isn't all too bad. its no alpine F1 but not too bad.
