I had a weird thing happen last Friday

Last Friday I went to the grocery store and took my v710 into the store with me, turning off the Bluetooth before turning off the car so as to save the phone's battery. (I used the macro I've linked in a couple of other threads, originally posted by user iceneedle.) When I left, I started up the car and turned Bluetooth on as usual--no problem there. Then as I drove away I used the voice control to set the climate control, and it worked fine. A minute or so later I decided to make a phone call, so I hit the HFL button on the steering wheel.
This is when the problem began. I got an error beep and the Navi screen said something to the effect of "This feature cannot be accessed while another voice recognition device is in use." Struck me as odd since I wasn't using the voice controls (it had already set the climate control), but I have noticed that sometimes the voice controls can be slow to "release," so to speak, so I just gave it another minute or two and tried again. Same error message appeared. So at the next red light I turned off the Bluetooth and then turned it back on, figuring that this might reset the connection. Only this time the phone wouldn't find the HFL at all. So I turned Bluetooth back off, put the phone in the cupholder, and tried again a little while later. Still no luck--it wouldn't connect to the HFL. So I turned the phone completely off and figured if I let it go for a while, maybe it would reset on its own. (The grocery store in question is about a 25-mile drive from home, so there was ample time for the connection to clear.) Meanwhile, the voice controls for the radio were working perfectly well.
Long story short, when I reached the traffic light about a mile from home, I turned the cell phone back on, and this time it connected properly. Never had the problem again before or since, although I haven't used the phone much in the past few days.
Has anyone ever seen this happen, or does anyone have any idea what might have caused it? About all I can speculate is that maybe someone in a nearby car also had a Bluetooth phone and maybe the devices interfered with each other. (I did not see another TL in the area, but I wasn't really paying attention, and of course someone could be using Bluetooth without having a TL.)

ive had this problem before. and to remedy it, i simply press the voice command button followed by the cancel button. this process recycles the voice command module and releases control of the mic. hope this helps!

Thanks. Hopefully it won't happen again, but if it does I'll try this. When I hit the voice command button after the error message appears it did nothing, but I don't remember whether I hit both buttons in sequence.
