HTC TyTN II/AT&T Tilt and HandsFree Link?
Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone has gotten the HTC TyTN II (Kaiser) or AT&T Tilt to work with the HandsFree Link? Thanks!

while you are in phone setup (HFL) and the the HFL is searching for a phone to pair with, make sure bt discovery is on (on the phone) and tell your phone to search for new devices. then just follow directions on phone once they find each other.
with my phone, the HFL wouldn't find it unless my phone was searching at the same time.
hope this helps

I have a Tilt and can confirm that pairing works fine. You even get signal strength and battery meter. You don't get to send your address book through Bluetooth though. Otherwise, I have found the volume of the phone to be a little low compared to the car's prompts, so I tend to have to crank the volume to hear people. The Lady in the car is VERY loud then.

I just got the TyTN (couldn't justify price difference for the tyTN II) running WM6 and it works great with my HFL. I had a Treo 650 before and this works even better. Shorter delay when answering and you get the battery and signal strength. I wish I could get the incoming number to display as well. My nokia did that.

Caller ID works on my O7' TL with my AT&T Tilt... my question is, has anyone gotten AcuraLink to work via the Tilt or found a way to import your address book?

AT&T Tilt with the test version Windows Mobile 6.1 does work with the Acuralink Phone Book Feature. It worked flawlessly. I went to select Import Phone Book and the phone confirmed whether or not to send the conacts to the car.
Windows Mobile 6.1 seems to be the first Windows mobile OS that supports the the PBAP (Phone Book Access Profile) bluetooth profile which is needed by the acuralink phone book synch feature.
It is confirmed that the official Windows Mobile 6.1 OS will be available as an upgrade to AT&T Tilt users as well a other Windows Mobile phones in the near future.

This is great news. I have a Verizon HTC XV6800 and drives me crazy that I cant import my phone book. I hope the 6.1 upgrade will be a option for Verizon also.
Thanks
