Backlighting to switches dont work

Backlighting to switches dont work

ok well im having this problem now. some of the lighting in my car stop working I.E like the backlight to the seat warmer switch and backlight to the passanger temp change toggle and a few others. ive only had the car for almost 3 years. anyone else have this problem and how do i fix it? can the dealership fix something like this ?

You might want to look in the 3G Garage for threads regarding this issue. The stealership will definitely fix this for you, but if you've had this car for 3 years, you might be out of warranty and you're probably going to be charged a pretty penny to get this fixed.

yeah i know the stealership will get me if i go there but it sucks looking at ur center dash and have missing lights. and everytime i take something apart, for some godly reason i make things worst.

Gotcha. I really think looking in the Garage is a good idea. I'm sure this has happened to other people as well.

My VOL/CH buttons on my steering wheel stopped illuminating. I've had my car for 3+ years. My service manager at Acura said the bulbs burned out and is not covered by warranty, however, he was cool enough to work around it and get the VOL/CH switches replaced cuz those are covered. I asked him how much it would've been to replace those bulbs and he said it would've been about $100+.

edit: I just noticed your from Houston, too. Go to Gillman Acura. They're really cool guys. Ask for Ron.
