Hi all, this is my first posting, but the reviews I have read on different subjects have been very helpful. I am hoping someone will be able to help me with this issue, and hopefully help others at the same time.

Ok, so I bought a 2008 TL-S in September. I love the vehicle, but I hate the Places database on the nav system. Before I bought the TL-S, i had a Garmin (my wife uses it now). We can add new POIs on the Garmin very easily. I recently bought the 4.73 upgrade. Some new construction issues have been fixed, but the POI list and catorigization still sucks. I would like to be able to modify the list in order to improve it for my own use.

Has anyone been able to complete this effort yet? As for the straight backup of this version, i have not tried it yet, but i will be buying a DVD Dual layer recorder soon.
